Food was fresh and delicious. The lunch portion meals I ordered for my family were generous in size. I got like 7 meals for the lunch menu for like 65.00 and that's a decent price especially for the amount of food you get. Customer service was top notch. Will definitely be going back here sooner than later. Side note: the sauce they put on the egg foo young is not necessary please stop putting that sauce on it because it actually messes up the dish it's like a dark brown gravy that doesn't even taste good so why put it on there and on the Kung pao chicken there were way to many peanuts in it although the dish was good but there were a whole lot of peanuts Jesus Christ. Shrimp with lobster was freaking delicious 😋 Pepper steak and onions was delicious Sesame chicken was good General Tso's chicken was good Sweet and sour chicken was good Egg drop soup was good Egg rolls were delicious 😋

So happy we found this place! As someone new to a plant-based diet, eating out is virtually impossible. New Chinatown has a whole section for vegetarians and vegans! We ordered the vegetable soup, vegetable dumplings, Tofu General Tso's amd the amazing Mongolian "beef"...omg! It was amazing! We will definitely be coming back here!

Gloriously air conditioning!!! Call-in or order ahead Mask required still Ordered in house, 3 separate orders, took all of 15 minutes!! Hot, fresh, crispy deliciousness!! Booth seats to wait for order Great prices!!!

If you are not hungry, don't order! I've been eating for 5-7 minutes and haven't made a dent!! Soooo much great, delicious food. Shrimp were high quality too! When I return to Birmingham, this will be one of my first stops! 1. Shrimp Fried Rice 2. Shrimp with Lobster Sauce

My girlfriend and I ordered from here a bunch of time and ohhh my gawd...... Like.... This is how Chinese food is supposed to be............ Their mapo doufu tasted just like my moms(I'm a Korean but used to live in China) but BETTER???????? They have an excellent selection of vegetarian/vegan menu too!!!!!!!

I only tried Mongolian vegetarian beef, multiple times. It’s my go-to here. It was a quick fix when during my vegetarian journey. Someone actually recommended to me and I definitely have recommended to others. Parking is in the street, recommend to order ahead.

So I swung by New China Town Wednesday and decided to give it another try - it's been years since I last stopped in 😊. As a NYC native, I'm always on the hunt for that authentic Chinese flavor from back home, and let me tell you, it's been a challenge here in Alabama. But I was in the area and craving some egg foo young, so I thought, why not? 🤔 I'm so glad I did! The egg foo young was spot on - I usually ask for the gravy on the side, but I forgot this time and it actually worked out because it was smothered in that savory roast pork goodness 🍴. It totally transported me back to that hole-in-the-wall joint in Brooklyn I used to go to as a kid! My husband's general tso's chicken was a hit too - it's up there with the best I've had in Alabama. If you're looking for legit Chinese food in the area, I'd def give New China Town a shot 👍. Can't wait to come back!
